As anticipated, Colorado State's Adrianna Culbert was named the Sports Import/AVCA national player of the week after her remarkable two-match stretch last week when she notched a triple-double and a quadruple-double as the No. 20 Rams beat Wyoming and San Jose State.
Culbert, a senior out of Denton, Mich., becomes the eighth Ram to have won the award, the third in as many years, following Deedra Foss (2014) and Megan Plourde (2013). Last year, Culbert won a national player of the week award from espnW.
Culbert finished the week with 22 kills, 38 assists, 23 digs and 13 blocks.
