A fifth straight regular season Mountain West championship is becoming increasingly less likely for the Colorado State women's basketball team.
The Rams fell to 4-4 in conference play Saturday after a 56-52 loss at UNLV. CSU is now three games back in the loss column of Wyoming and UNLV (10-7, 5-1) with 10 games remaining.
CSU (12-7 overall) was up three with 3:21 left after a 3-pointer by Sofie Tryggedsson, but the Rams were outscored 9-2 the rest of the way.
UNLV jumped out to a 20-7 lead after the first quarter before CSU stormed back to tie the game at 26 at halftime.
