FORT COLLINS — The official attendance for Saturday's Colorado State women's basketball game against New Mexico was 1,624. Hardly anything to write home about.
But on more than one occasion throughout the contest it seemed like two to three times that many fans filled the stands at Moby Arena.
Maybe it was the special State Pride uniforms the Rams were wearing. Or maybe it was because the crowd had plenty of cheer about. Especially toward the end, as Hannah Tvrdy's go-ahead 3-pointer with 26 seconds left in overtime lifted CSU to a 74-71 comeback win over the visiting Lobos.
