CSU women's basketball erases 15-point second-half deficit to win MW tournament championship

LAS VEGAS — The Rams are going dancing.

Facing its largest deficit of the season, the Colorado State women's basketball team stormed back down 15 in the second half to beat Fresno State 55-54 in the Mountain West tournament championship game on Friday.

The 22nd-ranked Rams (31-1) earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, their first appearance since 2002.

After falling behind 49-39 in the first minute of the fourth quarter, CSU ended the game on a 16-5 run.
