FORT COLLINS — Ignore the positions when looking at the roster for the Colorado State women's basketball team.
With so many skilled players, designations like guard and forward are often meaningless. And it's a big reason why the Rams are now three-time Mountain West regular season champions.
Case in point, Elin Gustavsson.
At 6-foot-3, Gustavsson is listed as a forward. But at times Saturday she was matched up on Nevada's point guard in a full-court press. The Swede's length created havoc for the visiting Wolf Pack, particularly for a sequence late in the third quarter.
