Colorado State women's basketball concluded the regular season with a 60-45 loss at UNLV. Losers of nine consecutive games, the Rams will enter postseason play 8-21, including a 2-16 mark in Mountain West action.
The Rams held it tight for the first half as they entered the break trailing by two. In the second, though, their defense faltered as the offense continued to lag behind and UNLV stretched its lead to nine before the end of the third.
Mollie Mounsey hit two 3s on her way to a team-best 10 points. Tatum Neubert and Myanne Hamm also made a couple from behind the arc, scoring nine and eight, respectively.
