FORT COLLINS — The new-look roster for Colorado State's women's basketball program expanded Monday as head coach Ryun Williams announced Makenzie Ellis has signed a financial-aid agreement.
Ellis will join the Rams as a graduate transfer out of SMU, but she spent her first two seasons in a Colorado uniform. She will be able to play the 2019-20 season, her final year of eligibility.
The 6-foot-2 product of Tulsa, Okla., was selected for the USA Women's U17 national team trials in 2014 and was a top-100 recruit by ESPN. She started every game for Colorado as a sophomore, averaging 6.
