FORT COLLINS — After a pair of losses in conference play, Colorado State's volleyball team has reversed course, winning a third consecutive Mountain West match on Saturday with a sweep of Utah State.
The Rams had little trouble with the Aggies in the 25-15, 25-12, 25-12 victory at Moby Arena, pushing their record to 6-2 in the MW, 14-6 overall.
Paulina Hougaard-Jensen paced an offense that hit .442 with 16 kills in the match, hitting .727 herself as her kills came on 22 attacks without an error. Fellow middle Kirstie Hillyer was next in line with 10 kills, while Breana Runnels finished with nine on a night setter Katie Oleksak closed with 45 assists.
