FORT COLLINS — Tom Hilbert knows the opponent is good, because he's seen evidence on tape.
Outside hitter Alex Reid knows this to be true, because she's personally played against Loyola Marymount — the No. 13 Rams' first-round opponent in the NCAA Tournament — the past two seasons while she played for Long Beach State.
"They're system is the same. They're a very disciplined team, especially with blocking," Reid said, who hopes to use that knowledge when the two teams square off at Stanford on Thursday (5:30 p.m). "Knowing where they start and how they're going to block is very helpful.
