Another game, another close loss.
Colorado State (3-14-2, 0-8-1 Mountain West) was edged out 1-0 by Boise State (7-9-3, 5-5 MW) at Lagoon Field Sunday in Fort Collins, Colorado. The Rams remain the only MW soccer team without a win in conference.
Narrow losses has been the recurring theme this season for CSU. The matchup against Boise State was borderline déjà vu and ended in another comeback attempt falling short for the Rams.
The Broncos came out bucking, pushing the pace and playing an aggressive style of defense. Pressuring the Rams as soon as they touched the ball, the Broncos created some frantic passing on the Rams’ part and nearly capitalized early.
