FORT COLLINS — Preston Williams' up-and-down 2018 training camp continues. The talented transfer from Tennessee was reinstated from suspension by Colorado State head football coach Mike Bobo last Friday when the Rams opened practice for the season.
But a week later, Williams — who in 2017 was suspended while also sitting out as a Division I transfer — will not participate in the Rams' first scrimmage on Saturday because of a groin injury he suffered during practice on Thursday.
"We don't think (it's serious)," Bobo said Friday. "He's got decent strength.
