FORT COLLINS — The start wasn't bad.
The first 10 minutes of basketball Colorado State played Sunday afternoon at Moby Arena were the kind of minutes that give coach Niko Medved hope. The next 10 minutes, however, were the kind that give the Rams' first-year mentor teaching points.
New Mexico State (11-3) went on a 22-2 run to build a lead the Aggies would never relinquish in an 88-68 victory in front of a holiday season crowd of 3,218.
"Clearly we got off to a nice start today; I thought our kids were ready to play," Medved said.
