FORT COLLINS — Colorado State athletics saw a significant bump in licensing revenue, increasing that total by 35 percent in 2015-16 over the previous fiscal year.
The university sees the rise in revenue in correlation with its apparel agreement with Under Armour, signing a new $11 million deal over five years in 2015. The school made $478,866.20 last year, a jump of $123,706.52 from the year before. Revenue from the sale of Under Armour apparel counts for 40 percent of the annual total, making it by far the leading producer for the university in terms of gross dollars.
