2016 CSU Storylines: Secondary

Stats — The Rams weren't bad in pass efficiency defense, ranking 46th nationally, allowing 12 scores through the air while collecting eight interceptions, a figure that was only tied for 100th nationally.

Cornerstone — Senior corner Tyree Simmons has started 18 games in his career, 15 of them the past two seasons. He had one pick last year, four for his career and helps in run defense. He is one of two returning Rams with an interception from 2015, the other being linebacker Kevin Davis.
