FORT COLLINS — When camp opened, so too did opportunity.
Colorado State coach Mike Bobo made it clear when the spring began it was the time for players to make themselves relevant or risk being lost in the shuffle when the next wave of Rams arrive in the summer. Bobo also pointed out three players on roster who have played roles already, but were expected to become trustworthy on a consistent basis.
That was his challenge to receivers Xavier Williams and Deionte Gaines and linebacker Josh Watson. Gaines is currently not with the team for undisclosed reasons, but Bobo has commended the other two for raising their level of play.
