FORT COLLINS — Energy pours from Ryan Davis as he moves around the room.
The Colorado State football strength and conditioning coach bounds more than anything, going from station to station, player to player, challenging them through each and every rep.
With a smile, mind you.
One might think a scowl of intimidation would fit the moment, but the smile is more effective. Why? Because he knows it gets under the players' skin when he does.
At one point, not long after a group of Rams has rolled into the weight room in the bowels of Moby Arena — the one the team affectionately calls the dungeon — Davis is in the face of linebacker Tre Thomas.
