FORT COLLINS — This is not the time to jump to conclusions.
It was the first game of the season. A blowout win over an inferior opponent. For Colorado State's football team, the 65-13 victory over Savannah State to open the Mike Bobo era was a chance to test drive the new systems in place more than anything else.
With 11 more games to go in the season — all of them tougher than the first — results may vary.
Saturday still was telling in some aspects.
