FORT COLLINS — Colorado State's seniors came out to play in their final home game at Canvas Stadium.
As the Rams came up short in their bid to upset No. 14 Utah State, falling 29-24 when a final-play touchdown was overturned, a few of the 18 seniors who were honored in a pregame ceremony came up with big plays to make it possible.
"What I liked was guys were wanting the ball," CSU head coach Mike Bobo said. "Preston (Williams) was wanting it, Warren (Jackson) was wanting it, Bisi (Johnson) was wanting it, Izzy Matthews was running the ball extremely tough.
