FORT COLLINS — The cat is away, but the mice know they can't be playing around.
George Orwell had it wrong. Mike Bobo is watching.
Quarterback K.J. Carta-Samuels texted the Colorado State head coach, wishing him the best and passing a long prayers. Then the conversation quickly turned to football.
"For sure. He texted me a couple of plays I made a mistake on, just saying, hey, remember this, think about that," Carta-Samuels said. "I'm like, all right, this guy is definitely watching every single rep."
Bobo posted on social media Wednesday he was undergoing a multi-day treatment for peripheral neuropathy, leaving open the possibility he will be back in time for the season opener Aug.
