After a senior year in which Jadon Walker threw for more than 1,000 yards and rushed for almost 900 more, the Chapel Hill High School (Georgia) quarterback was drawing interest from the service academies, and he posted on Twitter he would make his decision on Dec. 14.
He jumped the gun via the social media outlet, saying he gave a silent verbal commitment to Colorado State as an athlete after making an official visit last weekend, and he just couldn't wait any longer to tell people. His verbal is the 21st known for the Rams for upcoming recruiting class, and the team has already picked up a transfer from Tennessee in wide receiver Preston Williams.
