TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Warren Jackson picked a great time for his first collegiate touchdown.
The true freshman wideout at Colorado State hasn't been used much this year, entering Saturday's 41-32 loss at top-ranked Alabama with just three catches, but they have been productive. They had gained 73 yards, giving him a 24.3 yards per catch average.
His fourth wasn't very long, but it was flashy as the 6-foot-5, 205-pounder out of California rose over Alabama corner Anthony Averett on a fade route from Nick Stevens in the back corner of the end zone for a 4-yard score.
