FORT COLLINS — He only stepped back to field two punts in the game, and both times Robert Ruiz had to signal for a fair catch.
Seemingly no big deal in the grand scheme of things, but for the Colorado State senior wide receiver and punt returner, those two clean catches meant everything.
"I realized I've been out here catching punts with Hayden (Hunt), and not too many punters are going to punt it like Hayden," he said. "In the game, it was actually much easier than I hyped it up to be, and my knee, I felt no pain in the game.
