FORT COLLINS — Nick Stevens had an off week against New Mexico, but he still protected the ball.
As he entered Saturday's game with Air Force, he had thrown 12 touchdowns in Mountain West play without and interception, but after a quick start, the interception bug bit him hard.
Three times, in fact.
It was a bad outing in a 45-28 loss to Air Force at Lubick Field at CSU Stadium, but his top target isn't worried. Not at all, and Michael Gallup's advice is to keep on plugging.
"Throw the ball up again. We'll go get it," Gallup said.
