FORT COLLINS — The defense was playing so well, too.
After pitching a second-half shutout last week to clinch a 23-14 win over UTSA, the Rams' defensive unit held a Northern Colorado offense averaging 55.5 points per game off the board the first two quarters on Saturday.
At the break, the Rams led 38-0 and UNC only had 128 yards of offense. The one time the Bears threatened, Braylin Edwards was there to put a stop to it, stepping in front of a Kyle Sloter pass inside the CSU 10.
