FORT COLLINS — Ellison Hubbard stood and smiled at each and every question.
No, the Colorado State defense has not performed well, and the sophomore defensive lineman admits as much. Yes, the Rams are making too many mistakes and not forcing the issue.
But no, he refuses to believe the defense won't get better.
In fact, he's downright positive it will.
"It is my personality. I grew up just smiling, being positive," said Hubbard, who has 11 tackles on the season. "When everybody is down and people want to get on you, you have to stay positive because everything with a bad attitude can lead to troubles.
