RENO, Nevada — Bowl season is officially here.
For Nevada. No longer for Colorado State.
After five consecutive bowl appearances — tying a program record — the Rams will play out the rest of the regular season with none of their stated goals remaining to achieve. No conference title, no bowl appearance and no winning record.
With Nevada's 49-10 victory Saturday night at Mackay Stadium, the Rams fell to 3-7, guaranteeing the first losing year in head coach Mike Bobo's tenure. There was no drama in how it unfolded, it just did.
