Colorado State football's season opener Friday Sept. 2 against Colorado will be televised by ESPN, the Pac-12 announced Wednesday. The Rocky Mountain Showdown kicks off at 6 p.m. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver.
Seven of the Rams' games for 2016 will now be on national television, five of which will be broadcast on the networks of ESPN.
Single-game tickets for the CU-CSU game go on sale June 14. Fans can also purchase tickets to the Showdown through a seven-game season ticket package or a three-game mini plan, both of which are on sale now.
