FORT COLLINS — Colorado State senior guard Gian Clavell has been allowed to return to practice with the team but is still suspended from playing in games, the team announced Tuesday night.
Clavell was arrested Nov. 9 for false imprisonment with a domestic violence enhancement and suspended by the university indefinitely.
It was the second time that he was charged with false imprisonment in the past 16 months. Charges were dropped the first time, back in the summer of 2015.
The team sent out the following release regarding Clavell: "After its initial investigation, and in consultation with the University, the Colorado State University Athletic Department has allowed Gian Clavell to return to practice with the men's basketball team.
