FORT COLLINS — Devocio Butler first visited Colorado State last October. A month later he committed, and a few weeks after that he signed his national letter of intent.
He then went on to have a great sophomore season at Hill College, increasing his scoring from 10.8 points to per game to 17.1, his rebounds from 3.9 to 4.3 and assists from 1.7 to 3.1.
He couldn't wait to be a Ram.
But then, five months later, news broke that had everyone following the CSU program scratching their head.
