Niko Medved understood the magnitude of Saturday's games against Fresno State. Yes, every conference game is crucial, especially in one as wild as the Mountain West.
But as much as anything, he needed to see a response from his Colorado State basketball team after the second-half shellacking his Rams took from No. 7 Nevada on Wednesday. And in most facets of the game against the Bulldogs, they did just that to pick up a crucial 74-65 victory over a team nestled near the top of the MW standings all season.
