LAS VEGAS — A few plateaus, more valleys and some post-game tears.
That's how the end of Colorado State's season unfolded against Boise State at the Mountain West tournament in a first-round 66-57 loss to the Broncos on Wednesday. The valleys were far more burdensome to the Rams' success than the plateaus were advantageous, and they prevented the Rams from continuing their first season under the direction of Niko Medved.
"It was a frustrating game," Medved said. "We had a lot of opportunities to maybe even take the lead or seize it.
