For years, Colorado State basketball was a program set on being defined by rebounding and defense.
But now that Niko Medved has taken over the program for Larry Eustachy, expect the Rams to be much more well-rounded. Medved wants to play up-tempo, and there's no better time to stress the importance of pace than the first practice of the season.
"I think transition offense and transition defense is a huge deal for us," Medved said Thursday after his first official practice with the team. "We want to play fast, but not in a hurry.
