Nobody thought the process was going to be easy. It never is when coming off an 11-win season with a new coaching staff and new faces meshing together.
Colorado State basketball was again reminded of that Sunday afternoon during a 68-63 loss to South Dakota. Coach Niko Medved and players acknowledged the need to play less selfish as they continue to look for improvement on the season.
"I think we played incredibly selfishly at both ends when it mattered the most," Medved said. "Until that piece of it changes, it's going to be very, very difficult for us.
