Colorado State learned something against Boise State last Tuesday. The Rams failed to find offensive footing early, and it led to a deficit too large to overcome.
So when CSU stepped foot on the floor at Clune Arena to take on Air Force on Saturday, the Rams knew a quicker offensive start was necessary for a team looking for its first road win of the season. And in many ways, doing so starts on the defensive end.
The preparation was evident early as they never trailed during the contest on their way to a convincing 85-53 victory.
