FORT COLLINS — When it rains, it pours.
Stuck in its longest losing streak in eight years, and the immediate future of the program's leadership in doubt, Colorado State suffered an unforgettable 91-86 double-overtime loss to visiting Wyoming on Wednesday night at Moby arena.
CSU led by 15 points with less than five minutes to go, but proceeded to allow the Cowboys to force the game into overtime with 14-4 run over the final 3:05 of the second half, the third straight time the Rams have been unable to finish off a second-half lead at home.
The loss came just hours after the university confirmed it is conducting a "climate assessment" of head coach Larry Eustachy's team, the second look by the university into the way the coach is running his program in the past five years.
