FORT COLLINS — Joe Parker always insisted he wanted the right fit for the stadium-naming partner, and the deal the Colorado State athletic director announced Thursday with Public Service Credit Union surpassed his expectations.
The naming rights agreement with Public Service Credit Union is for a 15-years at a price tag of $37.7 million, making it one of the largest collegiate athletic-venue naming agreements in history.
Not bad for the university first foray into that specific marketplace.
"This is the perfect fit, and it surpasses every dimension that we had constructed for a partner," Parker said at the press conference held in the indoor Rams Club at the on-campus stadium.
