FORT COLLINS — The offense will come.
But the defense? That's pretty much a given for the Colorado State women's basketball team under coach Ryun Williams.
Forcing visiting Nebraska-Omaha to commit more turnovers (16) than made field goals (15), the Rams opened the 2016-17 season Friday night with an emphatic 69-42 victory at Moby Arena in the first round of the Preseason WNIT.
"I've been saying all week we really like our group," Williams said. "We're way ahead defensively right now than we are offensively. ... As that game progressed, that's what I liked the most, that we settled and had some nice performances.
