Colorado State senior Joe Hansley was named the Mountain West special teams player of the week for his performance in the Rams' 34-31 win over Fresno State on Saturday.
Hansley had two punt returns for touchdowns in the first half, scoring on a 75-yard return his first touch of the game, then adding a 61-yard return late in the first half. He is just the second Ram to have two punt returns for scores in a game, joining Dallas Davis, who did it back in 1999 against Utah.
Hansley's two returns were the only touchdowns for the Rams in the first half, his second starting a run of 20 unanswered points in the team's comeback.
