FORT COLLINS — Colorado State senior guard Jamie Patrick proved to be clutch for the Rams in the Mountain West opener, leading to her selection Monday as the conference player of the week.
The 5-foot-10 Patrick put forth one of her best outings at Colorado State in a 68-64 victory at home against Boise State. She scored 27 points, hitting the go-ahead 3-pointer with 17 seconds remaining and the score tied. Not only did she do her part on the offensive end, but defensively, she put the clamps on the Broncos' leading scorer, Brooke Pahukoa, limiting her to just four points.
