The stats also made it quite obvious who was the best player in the Mountain West in 2017 as the league announced Monday that the Colorado State senior guard from Sweden has been named the conference player of the year for the second season in a row.
Nystrom is the third player in MW women's history to win the award multiple times and just the second in program history, joining Becky Hammon.
