FORT COLLINS — For the third time this season, Colorado State middle blocker Alexandra Poletto was recognized by the Mountain West as one of the volleyball players of the week.
Poletto averaged 2.57 blocks per set in the Rams' two victories this week, earning the defensive player of the week nod for the second time this season. Her totals included a career-best 12 blocks against Fresno State, two of them solos. It was the most blocks by a CSU player this season and tied the program record for the most in a three-set match.
