FORT COLLINS — Colorado State senior Adrianna Culbert picked up more recognition Wednesday when espnW named her the national volleyball player of the week.
It is the second year in a row the organization has recognized Culbert for her play, having won the same award last year on Oct. 15.
The honor comes on the heels of an incredible run for opposite hitter/setter for the No. 18 Rams, a stretch that saw her post three straight triple-doubles — one a quad — and lead CSU to four straight wins in Mountain West play. It was the second week in a row the Delton, Mich.
