FORT COLLINS — The baby has become a bit of a beast.
When Acacia Andrews joined the Colorado State program out of Norman, Okla., she did so with limited court time under her belt. She didn't really start playing until her senior year, and at that, it was in a home-school league.
She did play some club, but in terms of what she had experienced, she was far behind some of her teammates.
"It's a risk taking somebody like that," CSU coach Tom Hilbert said. "She played on a home-school team; she had very little experience.
