The Lagoon Field will be a welcome site for the Rams who return home after going 0-3 on their three-game road trip.
The Colorado State (1-3-1) women’s soccer team is back in Fort Collins to face Northwestern (4-1-1) at 4 p.m. Friday.
“It’s gonna be really good to be at home versus Northwestern,” said CSU’s junior goalkeeper Jesse McGinley. “I am excited to see what this weekend has in store. I think we will do well.”
Just like the football team, the Rams will be facing a tough Big-10 opponent this weekend. Northwestern holds a 4-1-1 record on the year, and the Rams will need to execute better in order to pull off the upset, according to coach Bill Hempen.
