FORT COLLINS — They're not all going to be a work of art.
But even on somewhat of an off night, the Colorado State women's basketball team still kept its near-perfect record in tact.
The Rams overcame a sluggish start to win their 16th straight, 70-54, over visiting San Diego State on Wednesday night at Moby Arena.
CSU is now 19-1 overall and remains one of just seven teams in the country with fewer than two losses. The Rams also finished the first half of Mountain West play 9-0, taking a one-game lead on Fresno State after the Bulldogs fell at home to San Jose State.
