FORT COLLINS — There was no sugar-coating, no putting lipstick on a pig, no turd polishing.
Colorado State women's basketball coach Ryun Williams and his players weren't afraid to call it like it was Saturday afternoon.
"A win's good, but it still doesn't feel the best," junior guard Hannah Tvrdy said.
Said senior forward Elin Gustavsson: "It's always nice to win, but at the same time, this was not us."
The Rams' 44-41 victory over visiting UNLV at Moby Arena was the definition of an ugly win. CSU turned the ball over 22 times, compared to just five assists, and shot just 33.
