FORT COLLINS — If the Colorado State women's basketball team was looking for a test Friday night, the Rams certainly got one in an exhibition against Colorado State-Pueblo.
The visiting ThunderWolves won the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament last year and are picked to win the league this season. And for a majority of the night, they were a handful for the Rams to deal with in a 56-48 CSU victory at Moby Arena.
"It was an exhibition, all right," CSU coach Ryun Williams said. "It's always good to play that game to get out whatever anxiety, anxiousness you have in your system.
