Despite losing a pair of all-conference players, the Colorado State women's basketball team has again been tabbed as the favorites in the Mountain West this season.
Coming off three straight regular season titles, the Rams finished atop the predicted order of finish released by the conference on Wednesday. Senior guard Ellen Nystrom, the league's reigning player of the year, was selected to repeat that honor.
Fresno State center Bego Faz Davalos, New Mexico guard Cherise Beynon, Boise State guard Brooke Pahukoa and San Jose State guard Dezz Ramos also made the preseason all-conference team in addition to Nystrom.
