FORT COLLINS — For a program that has won three consecutive conference titles and is picked to win a fourth straight this year, the Colorado State women's basketball team has a decent amount of question marks heading into the 2016-17 season.
Fourth-year starters Ellen Nystrom and Elin Gustavsson are about as reliable as it comes, as both have averaged no fewer than 9.0 points a game in their incredibly successful careers. But beyond them, the team doesn't have a single player who has averaged more than 4.0 points in a season.
