Colorado State women's basketball falls at Nebraska to wrap up WNIT

Elin Gustavsson scored her 1,000th career point as a Ram, but her Colorado State women's basketball team was unable to overcome constant foul trouble and some poor shooting in a 62-59 loss at Nebraska to wrap up the Preseason WNIT on Thursday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Hannah Tvrdy, who transferred from Nebraska to CSU after her freshman season a few years ago, had career bests of 17 points and nine rebounds against her former mates. But three of her teammates, Ellen Nytsrom, Amanda Kantzy and Gustavsson, fouled out and the Rams shot just 38.2 percent from the field and 26.
